You need to prepare both a trade stand and a presentation for this event.

Trade Stands
Please arrive at 4:30pm (not before as the hall needs to be cleared), where the area will be made available for you to set up your trade stands.  Tables will be provided and positions randomly allocated beforehand.  You must provide your own self supporting backboard.  No power will be available at the stand and no music is to be played on the stand.  Between 2 and 4 company representatives should be at the stand at any one time.  Judging of the stands will commence at 4:45pm and this part of the event will finish at 6:00pm. Please note that your area will be checked for cleanliness after dismantling of your trade stand. Failure to leave the area clean and tidy could prevent you entering the presentations.

Main Presentations
Please note that we do not usually have a great deal of time for setting up the stage and therefore there is limited time for practice and modifications to your presentation.

In this second part of the event, companies are expected to attend and deliver a Company Presentation of up to a maximum of 5 minutes, (it is timed !).  Up to 4 achievers from each company may participate in giving the presentation and an additional member would be needed to 'run' the computer [if PowerPoint (or similar presentation format) is to be used].  The display screen is at the rear of the stage (projection from the front). It is strongly recommended that you practice before the event as time is very limited on the day. The Presentations start at 6:30pm and end around 7:30pm. The evening will finish about 8:30pm. There will be a break after the presentations for the judges to finalise the results and the awards will then follow.


Teachers, Advisers and parents are warmly welcome to attend the presentations.

Please note that for the Interim Judging, Brent and Harrow companies will be part of a single competition, ie: no separate awards for Brent or Harrow, and no company may win more than one award.

Judging Criteria
The judging criteria for this event was provided to you in your company packs on registration.  Please refer to this information.  Company Interim Reports are not required for this event.  Judges will assess the level to which the objectives of Young Enterprise have been met by the Achievers.  Most emphasis will be placed on the actual performance of the team members, their company, and the extent of understanding gained of the business principles and processes.
